“A collection of damaged moods”
‘Scratched’ is a collection of nine works minted on OBJKT February 2022. 8 primary pieces with 8 editions each and a final inverted piece with 64 editions which was air dropped to all collectors of the series. The concept behind the Scratched series is not a matter of adding to a image but rather removing to reveal only parts the image, to “scratch out” the darkness to show what is really underneath. Intentionally damaging or covering what should be considered the art to re-make it into a entirely different result than the original intent when taking the photo was something that fascinated me and has inspired much of my work since.
