About me
I am a lens-based artist from New Zealand whose black-and-white photography explores the uneasy relationship between nature and human impact. My work is intentionally confronting rather than decorative, using grain, contrast, and fragmentation to create images that linger and provoke reflection.
Alongside my photographic practice, I am a passionate collector and supporter of emerging digital artists. I mint my work on the Tezos blockchain through platforms such as Objkt, embracing the intersection of photography, contemporary art, and Web3 technology.
Through my lens, derelict structures and abandoned landscapes become explorations of impermanence, memory, decay, and endurance. I am drawn to the tensions between the natural and constructed worlds, and to the stories that remain within places often overlooked.
My work has been exhibited internationally at Superchief Gallery (Los Angeles), Shibuya Square (Tokyo), NFT New Zealand, NFT Aotearoa, and the Peninsula Art Auction. Through both traditional photographic practices and digital innovation, I aim to challenge conventional ideas of beauty while contributing to an art practice that refuses easy categorization.
